Ben can be so prickly sometimes. He still avoids saying proper names. Except for Lucy. He says her name, he loves on her. Sometimes rough, but always apologetic when he realized he’s hurt yer. I just love watching him with her, seeing his tenderness, looking at her light up. Oh what joy!

As an aside, my oldest daughter leaves a week from tomorrow to go to the University of Dallas. She want to double major in philosophy and English. It sounds like it will be a good fit for her.
